NeilC,You are correct, one doesn’t have to accept an offer/plan with DEMAND PENALTIES.However AGL, even with the ridiculous DEMAND PENALTY which is applied to the offer is the best outcome for me.AGL have a variety of offers available and the have rates /kWh in excess of those used in my plan. Giff, your mode of calculation appears to be correct and aligns with the way AGL have been charging me since July 2022.However your usage of 0.133kWh for the half hour diminishes the actual cost due to usage.
