Antenna installation

Switched-on

On Saturday, a technician arrived and installed a new antenna to our Activestream meter. We are currently having renovations done to a bathroom, so there are numerous trades coming and going. This particular technicain did not introduce himself, nor did he identify what company he worked for; we assumed he was working with our builder. However, our builder has assured us the technician was not part of his team. He simply removed the old small 'stick' antenna and replaced it with a larger, cone-shaped antenna. Ever since the installation, our internet and mobile phone signals drop-out frequently. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
