Hi. I have a 17kw system (12kw and 5kw, 3 phase inverter). Is this 10kw limit per phase? Would I be eligible for this plan? Thanks

Hi Royboy,
Thank you for getting in touch!
The 10KW limit applies to the size of your system, so you would not be eligible I'm sorry to say.
Kind regards,
Jayden
Hi @jaydeny I'm looking at upgrading my single phase system from 3kw inverter to 8.2kw Fronius inverter... installer is recommending 10.7kw panel configuration with the 8.2kw inverter and says I should be eligible for the Solar Saver plan as 10kw max size limit refers to inverter size. Can you confirm if this is the case, it seems to make sense as inverter determines max production at any one time - but want to make sure I'm eligible for the 20c feed in tariff.
Hi GamblorG,
Great question!
So long as your system size is less than 10kW, you'll be fine.
Cheers,
Jayden
awesome, thanks for the quick reply - that's really helped me a lot.
Hi @jaydeny,
Would it be possible to update the ads/documentation to make it clear whether it’s an inverter or panel limit? Last time I looked it just said “System”. I interpreted that as inverter initially, but when I inquired on the phone at the time (9 months ago), they said it was panels.
Thanks for putting me straight @jaydeny. I might need to expand our system!
Hi donw,
Thank you for your feedback!
This information is included in the "fine print" of these advertisements, but it sounds like we could be making this clearer so I'll forward on your feedback.
Kind regards,
Jayden
Hi Jayden,
Could you please confirm the NSW 10kw solar limit size FIT 21c for inverter size or total panel system size? It is really confusing.
You wrote as inverter size max 10kw, but when i called this morning, the guy told me firmly that it is panel size not inverter size.
Which one is correct one?
Origin Energy is based on the inverter size.
Thanks
Jimmy
Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for your question!
I can confirm that the 10kW limit is based on system size.
Cheers,
Jayden
Hi AGL,
I currently have single phase power connection at my property and looking to get solar system installed soon.
Can you please advise what is the maximum capacity of Inverter and solar panels that I can install on single phase. The maximum power that I can export to AGL on single phase and the tariff that I will get? Thanks,
