Smart meters and daylight savings

Hi, we have a "Meter type ‘Mk10D’ smart meter, and as we have off peak reduce costs, we noticed that clock on the meter has not changed due to daylight savings. IE when its 10PM its showing 9PM. As we line up as many machines to use the off peak at 10PM on wards we are worried we are getting charged the higher rate. Can you confirm if this is by design or incorrect. If it is correct how do we know we are not getting charged the higher rate through our AGL. I did also call Ausgrid but they said they dont manage this meter or accounts. I also called AGL hot line but they did not know the answer to this.

Despite the time shown on your meter, we've been assured by meter data providers that usage data will be time stamped correct to the time in which it was used, and as a result, you will be charged appropriately. If you feel that this is not the case once you receive your next bill, please let us know and we'll be happy to take a closer look at things!
