ive just received an email from AGL stating that my current plan is ending in December and that a new plan will automatically be set up. This new plan said it was set to 24 months but I know I will be leaving in 7-8 months and therefore may have to cancel my account with AGL. Can you advice me what penalties I would incur if I went ahead with this 24 month plan knowing I may have to cancel in the mid year?
what is this 24 month plan, can this please be explained to me in more detail?

This time period indicates how long AGL are committing to providing you with this discount. This period is not a 'lock in' period so to speak, and there will be no disadvantage to you for cancelling this in 7 months time.
