The AGL Rewards program is free to our valued customers. It is our way of recognising, rewarding you and saying thank you for being an AGL customer.
From ordering discounted gift cards and movie tickets to booking amazing holidays at the hottest prices, it’s the place where you’ll find treats for you, your family and friends for less.
First you need to register for My Account and AGL Rewards by following the instructions here.
To view and purchase offers, logon to My Account and click onto the ‘Rewards’ tab. When you dine out at one of our listed establishments, show your digital membership card (on your mobile or printed version) when you make payment to receive your discount.
You need to register for My Account and then activate AGL Rewards by clicking on the ‘Rewards’ message that appears on your screen if you’re visiting My Account for the first time, or click on the ‘Rewards’ tab that appears at the top of your screen.

After you’ve linked your AGL account to your flybuys membership, you can either:
Collect 1 point for every $2 spent on your AGL home electricity or gas bills, or;
Collect 1 point for every $1 spent on your AGL home electricity or gas bills simply by signing up to eBilling (you’ll receive your bills via email) as well as My Account (which lets you manage your account online, 24/7).
To be eligible to collect flybuys from AGL, you need to:
Be an AGL residential gas or electricity customer.
Have registered My Account with AGL.
You cannot collect flybuys on ActewAGL, Powerdirect or AGL business accounts.
flybuys is Australia's largest shopping rewards program. You can collect points when you shop with retailers like Coles, Target, Kmart and Liquorland – just to name a few.
After you’ve collected enough points, you can choose from over 1000 fantastic rewards, all with no fees or charges. Membership is open to anybody who wants to be rewarded for their everyday shopping.
You can link your flybuys details with your online by logging into My Account.

You can only collect flybuys points on the amount you pay AGL. You can’t collect points for credits that are applied to your bills.
To help explain, here are just some examples of items that are processed as credits to accounts and which are ineligible for flybuys points:

If a listed establishment refuses an AGL Rewards offer, contact Ambassador Card within 30 days and provide your membership name and number, a copy of the bill and the details of the claim so we can arrange for you to be reimbursed. Contact Ambassador Card via email firstname.lastname@example.org or on 1300 397 079.
Logon to My Account and click on the ‘Rewards’ tab, then click on the ‘Keep exploring’ option to be taken through to the AGL Rewards website. On the top right-hand corner, click on your name for the menu options and click on ‘Membership’. You will find your membership number on your digital membership card.
AGL Rewards is a digital membership program, so you will not receive a physical card. You can instantly access the benefits when you logon to My Account via your smartphone, tablet or PC once you’ve registered for AGL Rewards.
If you don’t have a smartphone and wish to claim a dining offer, follow the steps here to view and print your digital membership card. Please note, you may be required to show ID at some establishments.
We’ll install three smart devices: one on your air conditioner and a second on your switchboard so we can remotely manage your air conditioner via your home’s WiFi network. A third device, a smart air conditioner controller, will be installed to provide you with pre-cool capability, in case your air conditioner is compatible. This device will also provide us visibility of the temperature and humidity in the room with your designated remote-controlled air conditioner, which will allow us to further understand and optimise your comfort.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) jointly announced pilot projects, which were awarded funding under the demand response initiative, to help manage electricity supply during extreme peaks. The NSW Government also joined to support the initiative in New South Wales.
Over three years, the pilot projects will be trialled across Australia to explore new ways of improving energy grid stability.
Our Electric Vehicle Managed for You program will be specifically trialling electric vehicles.

Once you’re an AGL customer, to become an AGL Rewards member simply follow the instructions here. When you’ve successfully activated your AGL Rewards membership, to view your special offers logon to My Account and click the ‘Rewards’ tab.
The AGL Peak Energy Rewards Managed for You program is a pilot program which is testing new ways to reduce demand on the electricity grid to help ensure there’s enough energy for everyone, when it’s needed.
Between April 2018 and 31 March 2019, when the electricity grid is experiencing high demand, we’ll notify pilot participants that a “peak event” will occur.
After we install a new Schneider EVLink Smart Wallbox we’ll remotely pause it charging your electric vehicle during a peak event. Each peak event will run for up to two hours. You can opt out of each peak event:
before or during the event if you choose via the ChargeFox electric vehicle management app, which you can download to your smartphone. All the details of how to configure your ChargeFox electric vehicle management platform will be sent in your welcome pack, including how to opt out of peak events;
you can also opt out up to four hours prior to the event by contacting the Electric Vehicles team from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday on 1300 001 515.
After each peak event, the Schneider EVLink Smart Wallbox will automatically be returned to its previous power use.
In return for your participation in the entire two-hours of each peak event you’ll receive financial rewards. Combined financial rewards for your participation will be sent in November 2018 and April 2019.
eGift Cards and eVouchers are sent by email and delivery time will vary depending on the product you’ve ordered:
Digital movie vouchers are processed within a few minutes.
eGift cards from Myer and Wish (Woolworths, Big W, Dan Murphy's, Caltex, BWS and Woolworths Liquor) may take up to 12 hours to be delivered.
All other eGift cards may take 5 business days, depending on your payment method.
