You can link your flybuys card to your AGL account in a couple of ways:   Simply follow the steps here and have your flybuys and AGL account numbers on hand. You can also link or unlink your flybuys directly through My Account. To do this: Log in to My Account and go to the Rewards tab Click Set Up and enter your flybuys card number to link your card to your AGL account Wait for your flybuys card details to be verified. This may take a few days. Check the Rewards tab again to confirm that flybuys has been successfully linked. Start earning flybuys points with every bill paid!

If you're new to My Account, you'll need to register first. Then you'll be prompted to accept AGL Rewards Terms and Conditions and activate AGL Rewards.     If you've used My Account before, simply go to the Rewards tab for the link to take you through to AGL Rewards.

Once you've registered for AGL Rewards in My Account, go to the Rewards tab, and then click "Keep exploring" to view offers.  If you see an offer you like, follow the directions to redeem the offer from the retailer directly.      Make sure you check out our terms and conditions and any terms and conditions on the retailer’s site.

After you’ve linked your AGL account to your flybuys membership, you can either:   Collect 1 point for every $2 spent on your AGL home electricity or gas bills, or; Earn double points (1 point for every $1 spent) on your AGL home electricity or gas bills simply by signing up to eBilling (you’ll receive your bills via email) as well as My Account (which lets you manage your account online, 24/7).

  To be eligible to collect flybuys from AGL, you need to:   Be an AGL residential gas or electricity customer. Have registered My Account with AGL. Link your flybuys card to your AGL account You cannot collect flybuys on ActewAGL, Powerdirect or AGL business accounts.

You can only collect flybuys points on the amount you pay AGL. You can’t collect points for credits that are applied to your bills.   To help explain, here are just some examples of items that are processed as credits to accounts and which are ineligible for flybuys points:   Utility relief grants Solar credits Goodwill gestures from AGL given as a credit to the customers' account Concessions

Logon to My Account and click on the ‘Rewards’ tab, then click on the ‘Keep exploring’ option to be taken through to the AGL Rewards website. On the top right-hand corner, click on your name for the menu options and click on ‘Membership’. You will find your membership number on your digital membership card.

  We’ll install three smart devices: one on your air conditioner and a second on your switchboard so we can remotely manage your air conditioner via your home’s WiFi network. A third device, a smart air conditioner controller, will be installed to provide you with pre-cool capability, in case your air conditioner is compatible. This device will also provide us visibility of the temperature and humidity in the room with your designated remote-controlled air conditioner, which will allow us to further understand and optimise your comfort.

You can instantly access the benefits when you logon to My Account via your smartphone, tablet or PC once you’ve registered for AGL Rewards.   If you don’t have a smartphone and wish to claim a dining offer, follow the steps here to view and print your digital membership card. Please note, you may be required to show ID at some establishments.

If a listed establishment refuses an AGL Rewards offer, contact Ambassador Card within 30 days and provide your membership name and number, a copy of the bill and the details of the claim so we can arrange for you to be reimbursed. The AGL Peak Energy Rewards Managed for You program is a pilot program which is testing new ways to reduce demand on the electricity grid to help ensure there’s enough energy for everyone, when it’s needed. Between 31 March 2018 and 31 March 2019, when the electricity grid is experiencing high demand, we’ll notify pilot participants that a “peak event” will occur. During each peak event, which will last up to two hours, your air conditioner will be remotely adjusted to run at 50% of its normal power use unless you opt out.   After each peak event, your air conditioner will automatically be returned to your previous power use and in return you’ll receive financial rewards.

On the offer page click ‘redeem offer’, from there you’ll be taken directly to the retailer’s website to purchase your items at a discounted rate from the retailer.   It is important to familiarise yourself with any terms and condition that may apply to an offer before redeeming any reward as these are determined by the retailer and not AGL.   You should also make sure to follow any directions in the offer, for example if a promo code has been provided, enter the code at check-out for the discount to be applied.

  In the Peak Energy Rewards Managed for You program, during the specific peak event, AGL will remotely control your air-conditioner by sending a signal to the smart devices which automatically changes your air conditioner power down to 50% of its normal power. To participate, you will need to ensure your Wi-Fi is connected so the devices can remotely change your air conditioner.   At the end of each peak event, we’ll send a signal to your air conditioner to change your settings back to manual. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure your air conditioner is always returned to working as it was before the peak event, and will only control your air conditioner during the set peak event unless you opt out.
