Off peak times 2259

Switched-on

I've noticed I'm only been charged for peak times on my bill.  What are the times for off-peak in postcode 2259?  If I'm entitled to off-peak, why am I being charged for all peak hours?

Hey Kerry77,

Thank you for your post!

By default, residential electricity meters are installed with a 'single-rate tariff', which means that the household is charged the same rate for electricity consumed at all times of the day. A 'Time of Use' tariff which attracts different rates depending on the time of day is something that needs to be specifically requested as it is not compatible with all meter types.

If you'd like to find out more about the rates and tariffs available for your meter type, you can get in touch with our web chat team here.

Kind regards,

Jayden
