Hi abijt,

Welcome to the AGL Community!

There are no 'off peak' charges currently available in South Australia for residential purposes, so all general electricity consumption is charged at the same rate regardless of the time of day.

If you have a 'Controlled Load' listed on your bill, this is for seperatly metered appliances (storage hot water systems, pool pumps, etc), and the hours of application are determined by your distributor.

Kind regards,

Jayden

Thanks for the info..but today an AGL person quoted me:

"Peak demand applies 4pm - 9pm weekday and weekends all year. A minimum demand of 1.0 KW applies.

Off peak demand applies at all other times.

This is for residential....effective 1st July 2017..

So are AGL giving me wrong information?

thanks

Ab
