Obtaining refund of credit

I have changed energy provider.  Apparently I have a credit with AGL (according to an email message yesterday). I would like this refunded, p[ease.

@ag1l321,

If in fact, you are entitled to a refund, AGL will start their long process to refund a cheque to your last known address, from my experiences this will take a minimum of six week before they issue the cheque.

Hi @Judy1 ,

 

The process to obtain a credit is detailed HERE

 

Simply click on the HERE and it will start a new web page (on the AGL WEBSITE) with the instructions on how to carry out the process.

 

I can tell you that it is not a simple process because you have to wait to talk to someone (or chat) to get the process started.

 

AGL just normally sends us a cheque after the first bill is processed in the new financial year (was due last Friday for us).
