I am curious to know why my power costs increased 30% the day my solar power was connected!!!
It defeats the purpose of installing solar!!!
My off peak consumption is exceptionally high i.e. 11.00pm to 7.00am Monday to Friday and week ends.
I turned off my electrical hot water system for the month, used bottled gas only, to see if off peak power consumption and cost dropped, only to see it go up for the month.
It makes me think there is a fiddle going on somewhere.
My off peak consumption is twice my peak consumption even though I am in bed by 10.00pm and up at 9.00am as a retiree. So how does that figure. Am I supplying power to the hydrophonic market garden next door??
