Problems with gas pressure

Since my new gas regulator was installed a few weeks ago in Balwyn North, My gas heated hot water is either way too hot, or too cool. Has anyone else got this problem and has it been fixed? I have a call in to the regulator installers but would like to hear anyone else's fix.

Hi, Lauren.

Not well at all. I called them and explained. they tried to say it was a water heater problem, but I insisted that it was the reguator on the meter, as the heaater had never given trouble before the new meter went in. they finally gave it a problem number and say they will see to it in 5 working days. Today is the 5th working day and so far no one has shown up. NOT HAPPY!

Oh, and by the way, when I first reported this to AGL, I was less than satisfied by the response of your staff. Basically, AGL seems to do nothing for my Gas Supply other than sending me a bill. What else does AGL do for my money? the Meter's not yours, the Heaters aren't yours, the pipes aren't yours. What is?

Not good to hear @pinkpantheroz!

 

As a retailer, we look after selling energy. Your distributor looks after the 'poles and wires' - including your meter. Use our distributor look-up tool to find yours.

Unfortunately, the faults department  of Multinet and Complaints department of United Energy are playing ping pong with my problem and are achieving NOTHING! I was supposed to hear today about what solution was mooted, but, as usual, no one phoned. I'm now thoroughly fed up with AGL, the Installers and Uncle Tom Cobbley and All who will not ACT to fix this. Next stop will be the media.  As your customer, I expect SERVICE. I am NOT SATISFIED. FIX IT!   Please call me on my home number on your account and tell me what you intend to do about this . Call after 1.00 pm, as We are late risers.
