Re: Gas Account Number

Switched-on

I have been anAGL customer for many years and have been looking at other providers. I am an aged pensioner and only receiving a 4% pay on time discount I know that if I go to another provider I can receive a much higher discount.

Before I change my Gas to another provider I am asking AGL to offer me a discount that would make me consider to stay with AGL.

Look forward to your reply. Thank you Clive.

I do not appreciate your company using a known spam company that has been sending porn, viruses, and other illegal messages to my account.

To claim that you have no knowledge; that you're not responsible for the actions of 3rd parties; or that you have strict written policies is bull **bleep**.

The fact remains, that the company would benefit if I lived in Australia and signed up with your company.  The problem is that I don't live in your country.  There is no reason for this spam being sent to me. Even if I did live in Australia, based on the fact that you are using a criminal organization that is flooding my email account with smut, I would never sign with AGL - or any other company that uses spam as a marketing tool.

Make no mistake, the company you are using is in fact engaged in behavior that is illegal and includes viruses, phishing, Trojans, exploitation of young women, fraud, and the list goes on and on!

Before you idiots go on the defensive with lame excuses, what gives you the right to send spam to people who never signed up for it?

You need to keep in mind that these third party company's are also sending out a bunch of other crap that you wouldn't want someone's 9 year-old daughter to see!

Plausible deniability is no longer a valid excuse when your company contracted with a third party and it also demonstrates that you're no better than the criminals who are sending this spam out to millions of people everyday!

Hi @Raven . Thanks for notifying us. That message appears to be a scam email. I'll be passing it on to our security team. It was not sent by AGL, nor by any third party company contracted or associated with AGL.  I'd encourage you to delete it and to make sure your spam filters are correctly configured.
