I need to add my name to the electric bill for an application that requires the utility bill. As I only need it as a one off, is it possible to transfer the name of the bill to my name and then transfer it again back to my friend's name without incurring any connecting costs?

As a work around, you can contact our customer service team (by web chat or on 131 245) to request a 'backdated move in' as of the last meter reading date. This will move the account in question into your name retrospectively from the date the meter was last read, and will not occur any additional meter reading fees.
Do I need to create an account before that? And who is suppose to reach out to request for the backdate, is it me or my friend?
