Recently paid electricity bill that was in late husbands name. Notified AGL I needed account put in my name. Account for deceased state sent with 0 account balance. A new account bill was sent in my name $361.65. I believe I should receive a refund for the bill I just paid as it was still in my husbands name as I now have this new account and bill in my name. The property is still the same.
Any bills that have already been paid under the estate should really stay that way for the sake of convenience, and I'm sorry that hasn't been the case in your circumstance. Please send me a private message with your account details so that we can get this sorted out for you.
