BPay CRN

Switched-on

Would like clarification that the Customer Reference to be entered on BPay is the 20 digit reference number that is located under “Post BillPay” section on the second form of PDF Bill?

It doesn’t say this horridly long number is a universal reference number, only Post BillPay ..

Also why cannot both Gas and Electricity be in the same account?.. Seems counterproductive

Hey Milamber,

Thank you for joining the AGL Community!

I can confirm that the 20-digit number that appears above 'Post Billpay' on the second page of your bill. This number is universal, and should be used as your AGL reference number when processing payment regardless of the method used. In additon to this, with the way our system works, different reference numbers do need to be used for different fuels to ensure that your payments are allocated appropriately.

Kind regards,

Jayden
