We're pleased to announce we've recently launched version 8.3 of the AGL app. This update adds new features including:

  • Direct Debit Enhancements – improvements to the way customers manage their Direct Debit settings across energy and telco services.
  • Self-Service Disconnections improvement and automation of the self-service disconnection flow through the virtual assistant within the app.

Key improvements to Direct Debit

  • Presentation of payment information including credit card (with expiry date), bank account and/or PayPal
  • UI Improvements to present a single view of all services (telco and energy) which have direct debit set up
  • Improved handling of scenarios where customers may want to setup or manage direct debit for services

The AGL app with the authenticated built-in virtual assistant can now help arrange disconnection of energy services on a preferred move out date. This feature provides a seamless self-serve experience to customers.
